Junction Comics

 If the pandemic has taught me anything, it's that we need to adapt to this ever changing world if we wish to survive. This is no longer a mere saying or business model. Everything has changed. And that's as grim as this post will get. We are adapting and evolving at Junction Comics Group. We've decided to make our books available to online customers that will make buying and reading comics fun again. Currently available are our award nominated first two issues of The Gather Place and we are also taking pre-orders on issue #3 of The Gathering Place in our  shop .   I'm incredibly honoured to have been once again nominated for an award that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada.  The Gathering Place has been nominated for Best Comic Book for 2020. I am really honoured to have had this issue of the series included amongest an incredible list of comic books released in 2020. It was the first book to have both my sons assist me with the production. Thank you to  Sequential Magazine , Brendan Montgomery Editor in Chief, and Strange Adventures Comics and Curiosities.

 It's been quite the incredible year.  Too many "Ups and Downs" to mention but forever grateful to have gone through those experiences and to be here now.   Just received this year's family Christmas cards from the printer and thought I'd post these cards from the past few years.  Hopefully they put a smile on your face as they do mine.  Should be rather easy to spot my influences. 2020 2019 2018

  The results are in!  At first, I was incredibly surprised and honoured to be nominated for an awards that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada. Then I felt overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the comics community, friends, fans, and even my students.  Now, I am humbled by my third place showing as Favourite Artist.
