On a farm full of love, laughter, and adventure, lives Daryn—an imaginative and curious child who doesn’t quite fit into any one box. Daryn is non-binary, and while they don’t always know exactly how to explain who they are to others, they feel comfortable being themselves in the loving embrace of their diverse family. Daryn’s world is one where differences are celebrated, and everyone has a place.

Daryn’s true passion is drawing—capturing the beauty of the farm, its animals, and the people who live there. With a sketchbook in hand, they spend hours sketching the sprawling fields, the pesky chickens, and the golden sunsets, creating artwork that shows the world through their unique perspective. But Daryn is more than just an artist; they also have a knack for solving mysteries.

Armed with their sharp eyes and quick mind, Daryn becomes the farm's unofficial detective. Whether it's the case of the missing soccer ball or the mystery of the strange footprints found by the barn, Daryn is always eager to investigate. Along the way, they uncover hidden secrets of the farm—forgotten treasures, old toys, and even mysterious animal behaviour that no one else can quite figure out.

As they embark on their detective adventures, Daryn learns valuable lessons about themselves, their family, and the world around them. Their journey is not just about solving mysteries but also about understanding who they are and how their identity fits into the broader story of their farm, their family, and their community. Through their eyes, readers see a world of acceptance and belonging, where the magic of nature, art, and discovery goes hand in hand with the deep connections that bind a family together.

"Daryn the Detective" is a heartwarming, inclusive story of self-discovery, adventure, and the joy of finding one's place in the world. It celebrates the power of curiosity, creativity, and the bonds that make us who we are—no matter how different or unique that may be.
