Wayside Comics and Cocktails summer series of creator spotlights have been a great opportunity to meet local comic creators. So, when the prospect came about to participate and meet new and old readers, I jumped at the chance.

An awesome place to read and buy comics, talk comics while sipping a fine cocktail, and perhaps meet a local comic creator - they're always stopping by to say 'hi'. Looking for quality books for young readers? Then head down to Little Island Comics (next door to The Beguiling) in Toronto, for a diverse collection of exciting reading material for kids of any age. Dropped off a few signed copies of Daryn's Drawings.

  Daryn's Drawings had its premiere launch at FanFest 2024 - FanFest is Halton Hills Library's free comic book event.

  So happy to announce that, That Little BIG Girl , will be in print for the first time! Years after its online run, the webcomic be previewed in the Alls Cherry Anthology. With the renewed interest in That Little BIG Girl, a new print series will debut in 2024! Photos from the book launch this past weekend.

We're proud to announce that the second issue of The Gathering Place has been nominated for a Joe Shuster Award - The Gene Day Award for Self-Published Comic Book. It is such a great honour to receive a nomination for an award that celebrates Canadian comic creators for a comic book series that celebrates Canadian artists, illustrators, and storytellers.

 It's been quite the incredible year.  Too many "Ups and Downs" to mention but forever grateful to have gone through those experiences and to be here now.   Just received this year's family Christmas cards from the printer and thought I'd post these cards from the past few years.  Hopefully they put a smile on your face as they do mine.  Should be rather easy to spot my influences. 2020 2019 2018

 I'm proud to say that work on the second issue of The Gathering Place is just about complete.  Here are two images I was considering for the cover - I decided to use both of them.  You can find preview pages The Gathering Place tab .  Stay tuned for more exciting news.

  I'm proud to announce that alongside  Page and Panel: The TCAF Shop ,  The Beguiling , and  Silver Snails  in Toronto, you may now find The Gathering Place at  Gotham Central  in Mississauga  (signed copies available)   and at  Big B Comics  on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls.  As we come to the end of Summer, I thought that I would share some great news about The Gathering Place book. Back in May, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Vancouver and officially launch The Gathering Place at the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival.  It was my first time in Vancouver, and had the most amazing experience at VanCAF.  Made some new friends and received great feedback for The Gathering Place.  Sketch covers were so terribly popular that I spent the weekend drawing. Also in May, I had an incredible time the Christie Pits Art Crawl.  It was great to go back to my old neighbourhood to showcase The Gathering Place, and have old friends and neighbours come out to show their support.
