 As we come to the end of Summer, I thought that I would share some great news about The Gathering Place book. Back in May, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Vancouver and officially launch The Gathering Place at the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival.  It was my first time in Vancouver, and had the most amazing experience at VanCAF.  Made some new friends and received great feedback for The Gathering Place.  Sketch covers were so terribly popular that I spent the weekend drawing. Also in May, I had an incredible time the Christie Pits Art Crawl.  It was great to go back to my old neighbourhood to showcase The Gathering Place, and have old friends and neighbours come out to show their support. TCAF 2025 - Toronto Comics Arts Festival

  Come find me at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this June 7-8th at the Mattamy Athletic Centre (50 Carlton St.) - Table 262B ...by the south side of the ice rink near the main entrance. Debuting at TCAF will be Daryn's Drawings: Detective Daryn - volume two in the Daryn's drawings series. These children's graphic novels celebrate Daryn's (they/them) creativity and curiosity with heartwarming charm. It's also a colouring book - perfect for the little artists in your life. Along with Daryn, there will be the multi-nominated award comic book series 'The Gathering Place' filled with short biographies on a diverse group of Canadian artists. There will be huge sales on book bundles - look out for some great deals!
