  Daryn's Drawings had its premiere launch at FanFest 2024 - FanFest is Halton Hills Library's free comic book event.

  I'm incredibly honoured to have been once again nominated for an award that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada.  The Gathering Place has been nominated for Best Comic Book for 2020. I am really honoured to have had this issue of the series included amongest an incredible list of comic books released in 2020. It was the first book to have both my sons assist me with the production. Thank you to  Sequential Magazine , Brendan Montgomery Editor in Chief, and Strange Adventures Comics and Curiosities.

  The results are in!  At first, I was incredibly surprised and honoured to be nominated for an awards that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada. Then I felt overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the comics community, friends, fans, and even my students.  Now, I am humbled by my third place showing as Favourite Artist.
