Thank you to the whole team at Studio Comix for inviting me to take part in their Showcase Saturday series of events spotlighting local comic creators.  

First time out to Whitby FanCon and thoroughly impressed with the show. A great time was had by all. Found some time to have a little fun too.  

Another spectacular Guelph Comic Jam! What a great time to meet new faces and catch up with old ones. The books I came home with tell the story of the great talent found at this awesome annual event. Thank you, Jennifer.

  To celebrate five years of self-publishing comics, Junction Comics Group has decided to have some fun throughout our great city of Toronto. We'll be having a series of scavenger hunts right across the city. Watch the video to find the prize at our first hiding spot.

  Daryn's Drawings had its premiere launch at FanFest 2024 - FanFest is Halton Hills Library's free comic book event.

  So happy to announce that, That Little BIG Girl , will be in print for the first time! Years after its online run, the webcomic be previewed in the Alls Cherry Anthology. With the renewed interest in That Little BIG Girl, a new print series will debut in 2024! Photos from the book launch this past weekend.

  I'm incredibly honoured to have been once again nominated for an award that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada.  The Gathering Place has been nominated for Best Comic Book for 2020. I am really honoured to have had this issue of the series included amongest an incredible list of comic books released in 2020. It was the first book to have both my sons assist me with the production. Thank you to  Sequential Magazine , Brendan Montgomery Editor in Chief, and Strange Adventures Comics and Curiosities.

  The results are in!  At first, I was incredibly surprised and honoured to be nominated for an awards that celebrates that amazing work produced by the independent comic book community in Canada. Then I felt overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the comics community, friends, fans, and even my students.  Now, I am humbled by my third place showing as Favourite Artist.   I'm proud to announce that alongside  Page and Panel: The TCAF Shop ,  The Beguiling , and  Silver Snails  in Toronto, you may now find The Gathering Place at  Gotham Central  in Mississauga  (signed copies available)   and at  Big B Comics  on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls.  As we come to the end of Summer, I thought that I would share some great news about The Gathering Place book. Back in May, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Vancouver and officially launch The Gathering Place at the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival.  It was my first time in Vancouver, and had the most amazing experience at VanCAF.  Made some new friends and received great feedback for The Gathering Place.  Sketch covers were so terribly popular that I spent the weekend drawing. Also in May, I had an incredible time the Christie Pits Art Crawl.  It was great to go back to my old neighbourhood to showcase The Gathering Place, and have old friends and neighbours come out to show their support.
